Front's state president Satyendra Kushwaha and General Secretary Vijay Kumar Singh addressed the crowd saying the UPA government was intentionally doing dirty politics with Bihar to keep the state in dark forever.Demanding the Prime Minister's resignation, Kushwaha said that the UPA government was against the farmers' interests and until the Center allocates 500 MW of power for agricultural purpose alone and compensates flood victims in Bihar, the agitation would go on.Other demands of the protestors included loans to farmers at 4% APR, linking of Bihar rivers to solve irrigational problems, equitable distribution of fertilizer among the farmers, and a special rehabilitative package for those who suffered serious damages in the last year's flood.
