Soldier's Body Arrives in Patna;
Cremated



The body of Indian army jawan and a member of the Indo-Tibetan Border Force Manoj Kumar Singh who was killed in the line of duty in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan on January 3 arrived at his residence in Patna City on Thursday amidst crying and wailing by the family members, neighbors, and friends.

Nitish Honors CID Officials

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday said he would use his power to ensure the chapter on the lives of former Chief Ministers Bhola Paswan Shastri and Karpoori Thakur is not deleted from the middle school Hindi text book though he clearly stayed away from mentioning the name of former Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav whose name also appears in the same chapter.

Bihar Blames UPA over Sagging Power Situation
